Cornix Coffee Co. is a family run, small batch coffee roaster, located in Virginia Beach, VA. We have no café - all we do is barrel age and roast the best damn coffee we can get our hands on.

All of our coffee is barrel aged and processed in house. We roast fresh and ship direct from our roastery to your door: no distributors, no hassle, no bullshit.

the story BEHIND "Cornix"
In Greek and Roman mythology, Cornix is a character in Ovid's Metamorphoses. She was a princess and the daughter of King Coronaeus.
One day as Cornix, was walking by the seashore, Neptune (Poseidon) saw her and attempted to seduce her. When his efforts failed Cornix fled, crying out to men and gods, and while no man heard her, Pallas Athena felt pity upon her and transformed her into a crow.
